Columbus Aparthotel

Love this hotel 2nd time staying here 2yrs in a row, only fault it it was February time pretty good hot weather but the pool was absolutely freezing like an ice bath barely anyone entered it more than once yet advertised as being heated from. Feb-may was far too cold to swim in it 😞, we stayed in the all inclusive block were there is a small waterfall below this work me every morning at 5am I wouldn’t advise sleeping next to this … snack bar good & staff pleasant , rooms cleaned spotless every day & close to all amenities , I’d like to come back next year but the pool being so cold has put me off slightly .

Hotel is clean but basic. Had cockroaches in the bathroom which we reported a few times nothing done and didn't get moved, they were coming from behind the toilet so blocked the hole with toilet paper had 2 days without them on a 7 night stay. Food was okay but repetitive with tea being the same as dinner so we ate out instead. The queue for the bar was horrendous every day so would advise against all inclusive as not worth it. More for a party group than I'd say for families etc. Tried it but wouldn't stay again. We was in the furthest block so more out dated than the first block.

Rooms were very clean, in fact all areas were kept very clean. Good selection of food available and drinks. Choice of pools, one warm, one cool and jacuzzi and child pool. Lots of activities to keep you busy and the spa if you have a dull day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Many bars and restaurants nearby. Plenty of sun beds and quiet areas to chill out. Great holiday.

Hotel very clean, lots of staff, very friendly and welcoming, excellent location. Food and selection of drinks was great. Granddaughter loved the swimming pools. Short walk to the beach / waterfront area.

We stayed at the Columbus for the first time in April , on arrival we were pleased with what we saw the pool areas were clean ,the room was a good size as was the bathroom, the shower was a good size and water was always hot and the pressure was good,the balcony was facing the pool area which was lovely, there was a fridge in the room which was handy, the food in the restaurant was a little cold but there was always plenty to choose from ,the staff were wonderful always a smile and helpful. As the days wore on the noise in the hotel became unbearable with stag and hens returning from town and kept the party going in their rooms which was going on until some times six in the morning!! ,this unfortunately put us off from returning to the Columbus unless they decide to stop accepting groups of stags and hens, As a disabled traveler the hotel was easily accessible ,the only points I could pick up on was that there were no hand rails in the bathroom for holding on when stepping out of the shower ,you could rent a mobility scooter and as the hotel is at the top of a hill I would have definitely hired one if I hadn’t taken my own wheel chair and my husband!! , my Husband went in the pool ( it was freezing) every day and for the most part he was the only one who went in for a swim others would stand or sit on the edge of the pool ,it would have been nice if it opened earlier than 10 o’clock as he loves a swim earlier, the pool and all around it were kept really clean the cleaners worked hard everyday, the walls of the hotel are really thin and we were able to hear our neighbours plainly even at two in the morning. Well I would just avoid this hotel (all night partying)which is a shame because the hotel and staff couldn’t have been better,

If i was to come back to this hotel i would definitely go self catering as i felt all inclusive was a waste of money . Only ate here twice out of the whole holiday as we didnt feel the food was hot enough. Hotel is nice and clean but our room was very basic and could do with up grading. Did not like drinking out of plastic or paper cups! I understand the need to be eco friendly but this was not enjoyable.

Enjoyed our week. Arrived after 9pm so no food also they did not have our tipple unless we paid for it no equivalent, all inclusive finished on the bar at 11pm then you paid. also you had to be out of the room by 11am other than that the staff on the bar were pleasant day time reception staff were friendly specially Bianca as was the Manager it was a family Hotel and although there were children and young people we did not hear any noise or rowdiness at night. Food was as in any hotel and the evening entertainment was OK. The hotel is on a slight hill so anyone with breathing difficulties my need their inhalers as we did. had 3 pools one that was warm. Location near shops and bars

Lovely hotel great and helpful staff throughout visit. Good selection available was good. Downside-butlins style canteen table layout and expectation. Would go back but prefer half board option to all inclusive.

This 3 star hotel is spotlessly clean, expertly managed and more than worthy of its budget price. Not perfect but what hotel is? Friendly staff, good food and good entertainment. The kids reps are exceptionally good, our grandsons had a ball with them. We have been to this hotel 3 times and going back again this year

Just had a week at this hotel with friends and it was brilliant. I fact we liked it so much we have booked another trip next year. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. The room were clean and spacious. It’s location is ideal for exploring the shops bars and the beach.

Hotel is a good hotel for a 3star it’s in a great location.There was always plenty of choice in restaurant. The rooms just need updating.There is a new terrace with sun beds and umbrellas which was nice and quiet away from the rowdiness of hen and stag parties .
