Stayed for a week in Feb Firstly said it was 20 min transfer on the booking, more like 1hr 20 mins !!!! First impression looked good, reception was bright and airy, nice glass frontage The corridors were old fashioned looking, the room was OK, looked clean but when looking closely it wasn't that clean at all, very rough round the edges, toothpaste splashes up the glass bathroom door Bed was clean and comfy , the bed was made daily at first but half way through the maid skipped a few days We only stayed bed and breakfast, the restaurant looked great with a good variety just a shame that the buffet breakfast was cold, started eating out after a couple of mornings as it never improved Staff were friendly enough The road that the hotel was situated was very messy compared to the rest of the resort but suppose that's not the hotels fault Would I stay again ??? Probably not Was ok for the money I suppose and if you like cold food then your in for a treat

We just returned from a lovely short stay here. I was a bit put off by some of the reviews but rest assured there’s absolutely nothing to complain about in this hotel. The rooms are clean, the bests are so comfy, the staff are all friendly and the restaurant is brilliantly run with a huge selection of food. I loved the fact I could make my own cheese toasties in the morning (it’s the simple things) there was even chilled cava on offer at breakfast! They’ve really thought of everything and you can tell the staff take pride in the hotel and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Lots of theft at the hotel week before we got there. Rooms are not clean at all and we payed extra for a better room so god know what the basic rooms are like. Roof top pool for the premier rooms but no tolite or bar up there so you have to go 10 floors down for a drink! To top it off loads of building work there its so loud and far from relaxing just would not recommend anyone to go there.

4 day break hotel Oro Negro, staff lovely, food good, rooms big, cleaning staff lovely and there every day, pool class, everyone very helpful and friendly, will definitely staff here again, close to beach, shops and restaurants.

This is me and my sisters second time at this hotel and it is by far our favourite. The entertainment team are amazing especially Noel. It is located on a busy road but it is close to town.the pool and sunbeds don’t open until 10am so there’s no rushing for beds. One thing i would say is that the vending machine is cash only and the pool bar doesn’t open until 11am when the pool opens at 10am. Other than that we love this hotel and will be back either in October or for NYE this year.

We’ve been staying off and on at this hotel for the last 15 years ,yes it is a little dated but it is so clean and staff brilliant . We always book a premium room as they are always a little more updated and have the little extras like tea ,coffee ,water ,kettle fridge and you get to use the pool on the roof . Location wise it’s great for all things ,bars ,beach about 15 min walk ,buses just around the corner . Food is ok ,caters for all either meat eaters ,vegetarians or vegans ,there is always different options for all . The entertainment of a day has been updated as 1 day they had a pool party and it was a great day full of fun old ,and young joined in , Also no “ sun bed wars “ plenty of beds for every one ,they don’t open till 09:00 on the terrace and didn’t notice anyone waiting for them to open until 08:45 , The beds around the pool open at 10:00 but did notice people putting towels on the stacks of beds at 09:00 but no real moan as we are happy on the terrace or roof pool .

Food was always cold and not appealing to the eye no taste plan same food everyday .and then they have the cheek to send you back to your room because you're wearing an open toe sandals that they called a flip flop like a 4-star 5-star restaurants worse worse hotel ever. The night that we arrived they said they left us dinner which was cold bread roll so hard it couldn't cut cold cheese cold ham and water when we went to get coffee from the bar we was charged €6.00 you wasn't even entitled to a cup of hot coffee after coming in from a flight!! We have to go out most days to eat something because I just could not face that poor food. The best thing about this hotel is that the room service the lady that clean those room she really did a good job.

This 3 star hotel is well worth its rating. It is only 10 minutes stroll from the beach and near shops and restaurants. Even though it is on a busy road it is quiet. We had a basic room on the ground floor which was very clean and perfectly adequate with comfy beds. The room was cleaned daily. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and although the dining room was busy there were always tables available. The swimming pool and surrounding area was clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds. The evening entertainment was fine too if you chose to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed 6 nights, Food , Room , Staff , all Excellent, I didn't use the pool as such, but you might find it a bit boring for kids, Hotel was clean and tidy, and easy access to the main towns and beaches

We have been here 5 times over many years lovely friendly staff.ideal location but not for people with walking problems good location for eating out and entertainment but overall lovely hotel.lovely food wide variety for all .

Can not praise this hotel enough! Food was great with so much to choose from, we went half board but you can pay 10 euros to eat there for breakfast or lunch or evening meal great value for money, and the hotel smelt lovely! Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily.

Lovely clean hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, food was very nice and not repetitive.plenty of sun beds no towels needed, room very clean except a few hairs in shower, soon got shut of them.bed was great had 7 fantastic nights sleep, no hesitation in going back to the oro negro.

Myself and my family visited this hotel for our summer holidays and all I can say is it never fails. Fantastic staff, very clean and tidy and the food is amazing with something for everyone - even the fussy eaters.

Be careful of patio doors when going on balcony as mine locked behind me and I was stuck for an hour and half waiting for someone to let me back into my room. A bit tired decor but very clean and the food was excellent, I would definitely stay there again.

the food was first class loads of choice at all meals the rooms were kept spotless beds were great staff were first class all over the hotel nothing was a bother to them fast check in and out pool area plenty of sun beds
