Costa Adeje
On a Costa Adeje holiday, families and couples alike can expect great food, classy shopping and a touch of glitz. With sensational views and thrilling waterparks not far from the resort centre, it won’t take long to realise you can have a whole lot of fun here in this part of Tenerife.
Tenerife’s naturally dark sands have been swapped across certain stretches in favour of golden grains from the Sahara – you’ve got the best of both worlds. Check out the lighter side in Playa del Duque, while the richer stuff’s in Playa Fanabe. After Blue Flag beaches? Put Playa Torviscas, Playa Enramada and Playa Troya on your radar.
Canarian cuisine
Why not copy how the locals eat in the Canary Islands? Look out for garlicky chicken, tasty tapas, seafood paella and spicy mojo sauce made with red or green peppers – and don’t miss out on the local fish. For those who fancy a flavour of home, there are some reasonably priced Brit cafés.
Marine adventures
Stroll around the stylish marina at Puerto Colon and admire the luxury yachts. The harbour is the place to catch a boat out into the Atlantic and do a spot of whale and dolphin watching. You won’t get better chances to ogle at ocean wildlife in their natural swimming pool.

Lovely Hotel, first impressions count, unfortunately ours was not a great first impression.
16 May 2024
We had a lovely holiday but was ready to come home after 7 days. We went as a family with a 2 year old, the hotel is gorgeous in a lovely setting, however we did not have the best start. We checked in at 3.40 and out room was not available until 5pm. There is a snack bar however, the majority of items on there you have to pay for, even though we were all inclusive. Communication was not great at check in so we were not informed about anything in the hotel, we were also given the wrong times for when the buffet restaurant was open, I know it doesn't seem like much but when you have a hungry and tired 2 year old we would have been there at 7pm when the doors opened instead of hanging around until 7.30. All drinks have to be ordered and they are brought to your table, which was lovely, if you could get a member of staffs attention and if they remembered to bring it to you. We had to ask a couple of times even for water. With regards to the food hall i would advised getting there early as we arrived for lunch one day at 2.15, it was open until 3.30 however the main food was gone and they did not refill this. Your meats and past were cooked fresh for you but you don't want to be there when it is busy as you can be standing around waiting to be served for a while.
The staff at the pool were amazing and so helpful and polite, I also met Anna one of the mangers on our second day and she apologise for out check in experience and advised me to download the hotels app, which had all the information about the hotel, activities, restaurants, spa, and menus. I found this very helpful.
I did like that the hotel is trying to be eco friendly with water stations on every level of accommodation so you can refill your bottles. There were always plenty of sun beds to choose from, we would often go to the beach in the morning and return in the afternoon, we could always get a sunbed with an umbrella and they were very comfy.
If you have a little one there is plenty of space for them to explore but be safe, our little one still has afternoon naps, the hotel provided space and shade for you to put him in his pushchair and walk around until he had fallen asleep.
As some one else has mentioned some of the pools have tiles missing so be careful when entering, besides that the pools where clean and warm with a couple to choose from.

Comfortable, relaxed holiday. High quality service. Hotel location is excellent. Adeje is a great resort. The hotel has comfortable grounds but also is handy for walks on the boardwalk which offers great acces in both directions.

Great Location

I have visited this hotel about 5 times but will not be going again. Since the rooms have been refurbished the room has changed not for the better there is no privacy in the toilet as there is a frosted glass effect although being married for 44 years I do not wish to see hubby in there also why have the sink and drying area from the wet room in the lounge /bedroom

Holiday in Adeje, Tenerife
14 Jun 2018
We have visited this hotel on four previous occasions and always been impressed with the quality.
The staff, amenities and food are superb. Nothing is too much bother and everyone always has a smile on their face. The views from the sea front rooms and suites are hard to beat. What more could one ask of a holiday in the sun?

Sunny week away in Costa Adeje
18 Aug 2017
Sadly I was disappointed with the hotel and I am usually a very understandable travelled. Firstly Air Com in your room most work in 30 degree heat. I spent 2 days complaining about the air com not working and eventually after 4 visits by engineers it got sorted .... over two days and one very warm night. Also the main pool was closed 3 days out of seven because of pooh in the pool. I had read other reviews about this issue in this hotel and agreed that the hotel could not be blamed but sorry .... they can. They do not apply any rules to the pools and it's basically a free for all to do what they wish ... there are two separate kids pools and if kids are in the main pool certain gear should be worn by the child. This is not checked by staff or applied.
Lastly the breakfast, i would recommend that you bring a paper with you or something to leave on the table when you leave it to get your buffet breakfast. There is no welcome and show you to a table for your party .... its walk around until you find a free table and then guard it so no one else sits there ...accidentally.
Very poor experience in a lot of areas but I presume in August they are stretched regarding resources and I guess it i stayed at any other time, apart from peak times, it would be better.
