HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

This is the 2nd time we’ve visited with 2 young children. The hotel is great for families and is in the perfect location. The children’s entertainment is great for young children and the soft play is perfect for those days when the weather isn’t the best! They have changed the splash park bit to when we last visited and I don’t think it’s as good. They have moved the slides to out of the pool so the landing area is hard and I saw a few children hurt themselves as they came off the slides. The water was also really cold so my children didn’t want to go in it which is a shame as this was one of the reasons we rebooked. The food is ok, we could always find something to eat. I wouldn’t recommend the al a carte restaurant as we were waiting 1 hour 30 mins and still no dessert and we’d only ordered fruit! We ended up having to leave and go to the buffet restaurant for dessert as it was getting late for my children to eat. The rooms are nice and clean although we did experience a couple of cockroaches, reception said they put something down to help which did. All the staff here are very friendly and do their best to make your stay great! We would come again but only half board as I feel the location is ideal to eat out.

stayed at this hotel for 1 week July 2024 , was given a room out the back at first and was completely devastated when i looked out the balcony and saw a wall a fence even though i had requested pool view room in booking i went straight back to reception and spoke to a lovely lady who straight away gave me keys for a pool view room myself,partner and 3 children grabbed our luggage and went to the new room which was number 016 and honestly it was just perfect , spotless, spacious, balcony lead out to the pool and sunbeds cold drinks stocked up in the fridge exactly what we had invisioned and more , the whole hotel was immaculate , constantly being cleaned , staff very welcoming , all inclusive drinks was good always available , lots of activities going on throughout the day also a kids club based inside the hotel with softplay area , watching films , cooking , making stuff my 5 year old absolutely loved this honestly would definately recommend this hotel for a unforgettable family holiday hotel leads out to beach and shops down the stairs and out the front right in the middle of the strip , 10 min walk to Fanabe a must visit beautiful beach there only down fall is the food , breakfast was not good runny scrambled egg , cold beans , no mushrooms dinner not much choice at all food tasteless its a shame as other then the food the hotel is faultless .

We chose this hotel because of the location really close to the sea front. The hotel staff were always happy and wanting to engage with conversation very polite. Only reason scored a 4 on sleep was due to the pillows not being to our liking and could hear music from the local bars nothing to do the hotel itself. Would definitely recommend and would certainly go back to this hotel if we choose to go to Tenerife again Felt very welcomed and nothing was too much trouble

We visited for the third time this Easter. The staff are fantastic and really make effort. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It’s in a brilliant location, right on the beach front. We enjoyed having a walk about in the daytime and evening as lots going on nearby. The food seemed much improved this time. Lots of choice, tasty and plenty to suit the kids. Downside is no show cooking. It’s missing omelette at breakfast and freshly cooked meat/ fish in the main restaurant. The entertainment is fantastic for younger kids. The mini disco is great and the daytime activities. We found that the evening shows weren’t our cup of tea so left after dinner and had a walk about locally instead as suited us more. Rooms are really spacious. Had plenty of storage too. Great to have the kitchen and full size fridge. We had a sea view and this was great!

This is the best gilet in Tenerife that we’ve stayed in, food is beautiful, entertainment is brilliant especially for the kids, staff are so friendly and can’t do enough, we asked to change rooms to be nearer the pool and they moved us as soon as they had availability, so clean and modern,

Stayed here on a number of occasions & really love it. Reception is so helpful & friendly, & everywhere cleaned on a daily basis. Apartments good size & contain everything you need. Restaurant is well organised & an amazing choice of food each day. Although we don’t use the pool, was well maintained with entertainment for children & adults as well as Cabaret for families near the pool in the evenings.

We stayed here for 10 days, the hotel was spotless, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating, x1 family member has multiple food allergies and the staff were so helpful, we definitely didnt starve, so much choice. Trips and excursions easily booked, couldn't of asked for anything more. We would definitely book again.

We spent a week during Xmas season at Tenerife. The hotel location is great. Facility is kit for family. Staff were wonderful, we couldn't put any fault on them. They are welcoming, they are working hard, they are the ones really made our holiday so special. So Thank you! The Xmas dinner was amazing. The daily entertainment were enjoyable. We would love to go back again.

We had a great time. Hotel was a perfect location and close to everything. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The kids entertainment day and night was great. We were half board and the food was decent, concidering I have two fussy eaters. They were happy enough.

Nice kitchen but self catering not an option . Family oriented. Close to large selection of bars and restaurants. Slow lifts Good even entertainment . Buffet food good standard. Balconies not very private.

My husband , daughter (4yrold) and I have just come back from a week stay at La Pinta. The hotel is exactly as it describes itself as , a family resort. The hotel prides itself as a family resort and centers all its efforts to make the holiday special for your kids. I wasnt expecting 5 star facilities so i was pleased to see the hotel advertises exactly what they offer. The reception went above and beyond when i asked to leave a belated birthday message for my hubby. They decorated the room with baloons and lollys for my daughter and a bottle of bubbly for us. Cons: Rooms are not very sound proof so there is alot of noise from the corridors of footsteps children running up and down and so on Its the first hotel ive seen you have to pay for a safe in the bedroom. I think if they removed this payment the experience would be better, as making customers feel safe to leave their belongings indoors should be priorty. We were given choice to move 2 buffet dinners to al a carte. However this is the only aspect i feel is advertised wrong. The al acarte isnt really al a carte, its more of a set menu, with 2 choices for main course and starters and buffet dessert. I personally feel you should advertise it as a set menu restaurant. The location of the restaurant is lovely and so is the service. And also you dont expect a buffet dessert for a al a carte restaurant. We changed back to buffet after our first al a carte meal at the restaurant as we thought we had more choice at the buffet. PROS Location is perfect with beautiful views...try getting an apartment 2nd floor and up if you want a decent view. Apartments were spotless basic facilities included and the cleaners did a great job of cleaning each day. Note they dont clean your dishes All the staff were very friendly and accomadating. Reception staff were always smiling and on the last day when we needed a later check out due my daughter feeling ill they happily moved us in a beautiful room for her to rest. Finally the biggest asset of this hotel is their kids club team. They were amazing with the kids and remembered all the kids names. They were so engaging that my daughter wanted to go to the club each day. They have a kids disco each night which is repetitive with the song choice, but at the end of the week we are still singing the songs. It does get very loud at the disco so can be scary for some kids. The evening entertainment is okay..we didnt go every night but the magic show was nice.

This had to be one of the bestest hotels very friendly, helpful. There was so much to do for the kiddies and even my parents. It was so exciting the whole time away. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.
