Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa

To wake up to the curtains electronically opening to reveal a beautiful beach framed by the island's mountains was simply magnificent. The room was huge and well decorated. Everything about the hotel was first class, including the staff whether at reception or in the breakfast buffet. The nine days we were there were a wonderful experience.

Clean,, friendly , helpful and well situated hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was of good quality and lovely music in the evenings in the piano bar. View from top bar on 17th floor was amazing.

This was our 4th time in 5 years staying at the AGH. We have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Ours rooms have been clean and spacious, especially the suites we have had the last 2 times with views either over the sea or along Playa Reducto, the volcanoes and the cityscape. Going in winter time, the appeal of the AGH has been the indoor pool and also the hotel's closeness to the shops, cafés and restaurants all within walking distance. Our experience of food is mostly with breakfast which was basic but plentiful and generally of good quality. We have always hired a car when staying in Lanzarote and the hotel has a large underground car park below it which does cost €8 per day but we considered that worth it for the convenience of always having a space and a lift directly from the car park to/from our floor.

Stayed here for 11 nights from the 25th of November . Upon arrival was greeted in reception and given a glass of wine while we checked in which was very quick. Porter brought our luggage to our room. We had a city and mountain view. Only went bed and breakfast which was lovely every morning. Fresh food,eggs cooked to order. Lots of choice and prosecco too. Rooms were clean and spacious,bathrooms had two sinks and bathrobes and slippers. Pool area was great for sunbathing and views were amazing. Also cocktail bar on 17th floor was great with great views.

Excellent, staff very friendly, could not do enough for upu. Food fantastic. Dinning room spotless you could see your face in the highly polished floor. Thanks for a great holidayRooms all you could wish for. Location great

Had a great week away. Our second visit to this hotel, staff very friendly, rooms spacious and clean. Reasonable selection of food, could have been warmer, definitely not 5* Hotel location great for shopping, beach and relaxing by the Old Port.

Stayed here for my husbands 50 th birthday absolutely fabulous hotel couldn't fault it at all the hotel staff were fabulous very helpful and polite friendly especially pool bar staff food was amazing the whole stay was just fabulous

The Arrecife Gran Hotel looked good on paper and certainly dominated the skyline in Arrecife. Pity it seemed to be being run by a lot of inexperienced young people who didn't seem to have a clue about customer service. Reminded me of an "Apprentice" task. As there were no balconies, you would expect the air conditioning to work. No. When I asked about getting it fixed, I also asked about a fan and was told there would be a daily charge. Consequently, every night was very uncomfortable in the rooms and also the restaurant area. On the positive side, the food was a fantastic buffet! Couldn't fault it. The restaurant night, was however, a complete disaster. Would I go there again. No. Sorry. I don't like to be so negative but I was very unimpressed.

Great hotel. Superb location with superb views. Room was very comfortable and food options were excellent and well presented. Lovely indoor pool at 31degrees. Convenient location in Arrecife with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

This is a beautiful 5* hotel with excellent facilities near a sandy beach resort with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We enjoyed using the spa and dining at the Altamar on the 17th Floor with amazing views and the nightly entertainment in the Pool Bar. Also there was a good selection of food in the buffet restaurant at breakfast and dinner time. As we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary the staff made it really special for us. Many thanks to Daniel at reception, Ayeclyn, Sarah, Moses and especially Marta at Customer Services for all their help, advice and their excellent services during our stay.

This hotel is the best we have stayed at in Arrecife, the staff are excellent and the hotel is clean and offers fantastic views of the area.Plenty of entertainment in the pool bar and the breakfast offers everything you could wish for
