Colina Mar Apartments

Stayed here for my birthday in February and had a good time The staff were very helpful and my room was good The food was ok but not a lot of choice and the dining room was a bit small but you could eat outside. The entertainment was ok but different. The place is on a steep hill but there are lifts to all floors. I would stay there again no doubt

I stayed here with my partner on the 9th of July up until 23rd of July 2024, it is a really good family / couples apartment and they have a great member of staff that is really good with the children and does all different kind of shaped balloons for the children and has great entertainment on a night for the children and bingo / karaoke for the adults, we was all inclusive for the time we stayed here it was great we had unlimited drinks until 11pm but had to pay for cider / cocktails but they are discounted and the staff try really hard to keep the apartment clean the cleaners come into your room everyday the only thing we would say needs improvement is the shower head updating and better food options.

brilliant staff very helpful. only problem we had we were to far away from lifts and reception, with being disabled should have been on fourth floor near to lifts. next time i will be asking for.

Being geared towards self-catering, the accommodation units are spacious and comfortable. Due to the cliffside location, the hotel is spread over a wide area on many levels, with lots of steps. There is elevators to get to all the levels for those not keen on climbing the steps. The atmosphere is relaxed, with guests consisting predominantly of retirees and young families. We experienced the staff to be friendly and helpful, but it was also reassuring to see them being stern on occasion with misbehaving guests. We opted for all-inclusive, which proved to be good value. The meals were good quality and satisfying with enough variety for all palettes, albeit the presentation and service were quite functional. Considering the selection and cost of food items in local supermarkets, all-inclusive remains the best option, unless you plan to dine out frequently. The cliffside location requires a steep walk or lots of steps (~800) to get to either of the two nearby beaches, but it is definitely worth the effort (we did it daily). The steep walk or many stairs to the beach is however not unique to Colina Mar, but is typical for most hotels due to the geography of the area. Fortunately there are many affordable taxis standing by for those who finds the walk to the beach too challenging.

I can honestly say I was a bit wary coming to stay here after reading reviews regarding food, staff & cleanliness. I am the worse fussy picky person and I absolutely loved it. Everywhere was spotless all the staff from reception to cleaners to bar staff were all friendly & really nice people. I went in May this year and have booked to come back September. Don’t read reviews go and experience Colina Mar it’s wonderful plus the views wow

Hotel and staff good just needs updating. This is the 3rd Time we have been there. If we go again we will do bed and breakfast as this is the best food ever other meal not good basic selection and cool/cold there is a microwave that they say to use to warm it up but I’m sorry if I want a microwave meal I will buy one. This is the only thing that lets it down. The staff are all great from receptionist to bar staff, there’s always some entertainment on at night.

The views are amazing but the food and service are awful. The staff other than Crazy Pants at the bottom pool are incredibly rude and ignorant. Breakfast is OK, lunch you can sometimes find something edible but the dinners are awful. First night we only managed soup. Thought it would get better......nope. one night they puy lasagne out as we stood there so we were pleased and took a portion.....it was stone cold like it was straight out of the fridge. Everyone was spitting it out. If you complain its cold you get told to use the microwave round the corner to heat it up yourself!!! Unreal!! Ate out 5 nights out of 7. Great places in the centre across the road. Wonderful all you can eat Chinese buffet on top floor. Beds are comfy and rooms have great views but food and entertainment is bad so won't be back.

The Colina Mar is a good hotel and is a great base for your holiday. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Europa Centre where there are plenty pf bars, restaurants and shops. The pool bar at the hotel is good as are the bar snacks and pizzas. There is a full food service available, however, I have never used this. The rooms are not air-conditioned so it can get very hot in the summer. I have been going to this hotel since 1999 and have been every year since 2014 except for 2021 due to the pandemic. I will be back again next March and I am happy to recommend this place.

Check in very quick , requested cot in the room on arrival. Room very clean and towels changed every couple of days. Pool area very clean. Food something for everyone . Could do with more chairs on an evening outside . overall would definitely go again

Very nice hotel, excellent staff, amazing views, we did not eat here this time so can't comment on food. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need and amazing views over the marina.The only thing I would say is entertainment at night is not very good and ends at 10 pm.

We have just returned after a weeks holiday at this hotel.Hotel is clean staff very frendly pools are clean and plenty of sun beds no need to rush. Location of the hotel is great for eating out. The BBQ at the hotel is good value for money
