We had a wonderful time the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive the choice of food was excellent

Visited in February - myself and wife. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and immaculate grounds and water features this wont disappoint. Our room 7263 was clean and very comfortable, My only suggestion is at check in. It would be better to check with the guest if they are ok to walk a modest distance and point out it is on floor 7. This was not an issue for us and we like the design where most of the rooms are some distance from the main entrance and modest noise level. To address some points raised about the noise - genuinely only moderate noise between 8 and 11pm , we sat on our balcony some nights facing the mountains with a drink , could hear music but not loud, when the door to the room is closed you won’t hear it .. I could see from early in the morning loungers were being covered with towels, now this did cause a few heated words at some of the more popular locations. The hotel rules do point out you do not have the right to commandeer sunbeds. I think this is the right approach as you can never please all. The evening buffet selection has something for all. All was good quality and served warm. In my opinion just the right balance and choice, If you like table service then you can go to the other restaurants on the grounds. We prefer the relaxed buffet experience. (Keep it up) The breakfast is also good, lots of choice , yes it’s busy if you turn up around 8.30 so we liked to go at 8.00 or so and found it to be ok. You can find a quiet spot outside in the restaurant which we found to be preferable in the fresh morning air and birds singing. All in all I would thoroughly recommend and will return to this hotel . The place is kept spotless. (well done) The grounds are most enjoyable to stroll around . The afternoon and evening entertainment is lovely . Just fab to sit outside with a drink and relax. Please consider giving return guests an option of preferred room location if available. Kind Regards Graham

fabulous hotel in the perfect location with access to good quality restaurants. The rooms were nicely decorated. There is entertainment during the day but its very discreet and not a distraction if you don't want to be involved. There is entertainment each evening also. Great beach just a short walk away.

Fifth time at this hotel. On arrival was given what must be one of the worst rooms in the hotel for a two week stay. We knew it would be north facing but this room from it's balcony looked onto a few bushes and a six foot wall !!! We returned to reception and were then given a room with a reasonable view. In the past a welcome drink is offered to arrivals but not this time. Apart from these two disappointments the hotel and the rest of the holiday was great.

This hotel is my happy place. When I day dream about relaxing, I am transported here. It is simply beautiful. The location is fantastic, the service of the staff impeccable, the food and drink wonderful. The refurbishments that we saw on this trip were all gorgeous improvements. I honestly cannot fault it. We will be back, the sooner, the better as far as I am concerned.

We visited for the 2nd time and absolutely love it here. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s fantastically placed for shops, food, beaches, taxis and buses. The most chilled holiday and we’re definitely going back next year.

Sounds wonderful but... It's supposed to be 5 * boasting 5 restaurants and lots of swimming pools. What you actually get is use of one buffet style restaurant free but at two others you only get 15% discount off the full price and the other two are full price. Most swimming pools are free to use but there are unique areas for special guests. Don't remember reading that in the hotel appraisal either. The spar pool area is chargeable at €70 per week each and you can only book by the week not the day. Although the swimming pools for general use are really nice it's not worth paying for the upgrade. There are chargeable areas by the lazy river pool over a bridge which is guarded daily to stop non payers getting to it. It's a very large hotel but we found sun beds each day in different areas so this was not a problem. Food is plentiful at the buffet restaurant but no better than any other with less stars. Staff are mainly friendly and helpful but the wait is too long for drinks either at a bar or when being waited on. We had 4 cockroaches in our room through our stay in June 2022 not something I would expect from this level of hotel. The rooms are very nicely decorated to a good standard but the facilities could be improved. The tea and sachets of milk were not replenished daily and there was no coffee on offer in the rooms. Just lots if flavoured tea bags. There was a mini bar for use but it's best to buy your own as its cheaper than the hotel charge to re stock it. The bed lining is changed on request as are the towels. There is a hairdryer but no iron or ironing board. TV is flat screen but not many English channels. We were disappointed with Jet2 as we did not see one rep during our 14 night stay and not one of the four emails were answered in that time or since our return. The Jet2 helpline number was not answered either. To sum up its got the best grounds of any hotel in the area, it's very palatial, we think 10 days is enough in that area as most bars finish at 11.00 pm The hotel entertainment is bearable but repetitive and only ranks as average except for the circus acrobatics act which was very good. At £3000 for 14 nights half board it's not worth the extra especially as other nations can book the same for half the amount. ( we spoke to a couple from Holland who confirmed this ) We would stay again if the price was right though.

the hotel/spa was brilliant, perfect, clean, friendly, we could not fault it. They were even cleaning the overhead woodwork! we had a swim up room which was even better than expected, you didn't have to pack up your gear and go to the pool - it was just there. Brilliant. Breakfast was spectacular - the best scrambled eggs ever, evening entertainment was generally fun if you didnt take it too seriously. there was a wonderful restaurant opposite the complex, tucked away in a corner that did pear wrapped in pasta - amazing.
