Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park

We had a fantastic holiday at Iberostar Gaviotas Park. The entertainment was great and the whole animation team should be praised. We really enjoyed the food, the room was spacious and clean. The whole place was very well run and I highly recommend it.

The hotel staff is amazing, they would go miles for you to help. My 2yo daughter who’s a little night mare when it comes to food really wanted a crisps but it was well after lunch and they weren’t serving them anymore but when I asked the staff the lovely lady went to the kitchen and got her a full plate which was really lovely of her. Rooms were cleaned daily and were always spotless, food can be repetitive but that’s expected in Spain when AI, there was always something to choose from but I would maybe suggest to always have chicken nuggets for the kids as from my experience every child loves them and with picky eaters who won’t eat other meats(cooked by anyone besides me) like my little one. Hotel is little bit dated and could do with some paint but it’s amazing place and I would definitely go back any day.

A well positioned hotel, very clean and well tended. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen as required. The food at both lunch and evening was excellent as were all the drinks. We couldn't fault this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel perfect for a family holiday. Great facilities for children, activities and very good animation team. Close to a great sandy beach. Very friendly staff and excellent restaurant with very good food and drinks. Lots of sun beds and several swimming pools including slides in a heated children pool. Huge size rooms with huge beds. Perfect December holiday via Jet2Holidays.

Just back from a 7 night stay. Hotel is well run very clean. Food and drinks are to a high standard. This is a family hotel however I visited with three of my friends and we had a ball. Would recommend joining in with the activities great way to get to know other guests. All the staff are very friendly and couldn't help enough. The entertainment staff work very very hard and are just lovely young people.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff are fantastic, particularly the entertainment staff who put so much into the activities/shows. The food is lovely, lots of choice for adults and for kids. We stayed in a suite with two small children and it was brilliant - very spacious and clean with all the facilities you need (fridge, microwave, hob). Gorgeous pools and the splash pool for the kids was great with the slides. Genuinely cannot fault the place!

We travelled to this hotel on 12th January 2019 with 2 children and found it brilliant. Entertainment team work tirelessly to ensure everyone has a good time. Food lovely, plenty of branded spirits, along with wine etc to pour yourself. There is a soft play area also. Pool side is slippy so take care. Overall brilliant holiday. Location is quiet but peaceful depends what you like to do during day.

This hotel was very very nice! The staff in particular were excellent. Food was incredible outstanding!!! The maids the bar staff the receptionists the pool staff and the entertainment team were fantastic. Perfect for families with kids!!No queues at bars, spotlessly clean everywhere. I would love to go back tomorrow!!I will recommend to all around of World 😃😃👏👏

Beautiful hotel, great food, amazing animation team (the best ever). The staff were all so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We loved it that much we've booked to go again next year. The rooftop bar at the sister hotel was beautiful too.

Brill hotel and surroundings. Close to beach .Good food and drink . Staff very helpfull.Plenty of sun beds .3 pools .Can use other amenities in sister hotel .Beedrooms are excellent for size n cleaniness

Excellent in everything. Fab food. Clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Animation team superb. You can use the sister hotel next door. Nice touches for instance waiters coming round at night giving out cocktails and drinks.......Baileys with chocolate. Could not fault a thing. This is our fifth trip to this hotel and will be definitely going again. Highly recommended. Beach beautiful. Great for walking along as stretches for miles.

This hotel is a 1.5 hour transfer from the airport. We had booked a side sea view suite for the family but on checkin found that we were given a room on the ground floor facing the pool. When I brought this up I was told it was preferable for families with little children. When I mentioned I had paid for a room with a certain view as advertised they said they will have a look but on the next day. We did get an upgraded room with a full sea view the next day. As we reached late due to a technical snag with the aircraft we were "directed" to the restaurant where we had to go find the food that was left / forage! No offers on helping with the luggage to the room though we had 2 partially asleep small children with us. The dress code for the restaurant is a bit bizarre (nothing short of a trouser is allowed) though there was some flexibility. The hotel is windy and the pools are cold so it can get a bit too much for little ones, most were seen shivering. Also this means there is no respite from the sun if wanted intermittently as you are not allowed to open the sunshade umbrellas. The kids club is fantastic and the activities are really good. Food choice, quality and service in the restaurant and pool bar excellent. The place is clean. Very close to the beach. Would recommend at 3 stars.

This was our third visit to this hotel and it was as good as ever. I really cannot fault this hotel, from all the staff, the food, the rooms, the entertainment and the animation team, all excellent. Special mention to Mono and Mattia who did the bingo every afternoon. I have never had so much fun playing bingo, they are both hilarious!! The rest of the animation were also very good and very friendly. The shows they did were excellent and also must mention one act that came in to do a show, The Tribute to El Divo, absolutely amazing. The food was again to a very high standard, always hot and so much choice. I really cannot wait to visit this hotel again.
