Hotel Sagitario Playa

Love this hotel. It is small enough to be super-friendly to all of its guests. The staff, right up to the most senior are friendly, helpful and approachable. The food is excellent and the service sublime

Upon arrival check in 2pm, so had to wait until 1.30 for our room. Room/balcony good size front facing shower over bath, very hard beds. Reception excellent, 10 night stay half board jet2, tourist tax 59.40 safe 20 euros 5 deposit.. Trip to "Somni horse show, reception managed to arrange a taxi during busy time of fiesta. 30 euros each way. Entrance 27.50 side seat still good view, fantastic evening approx. 1 and half hour show of outstanding horsemanship, photo opportunities, paid 8 euros to sit on "artisan horse" the horse had been in the fiesta ! Would recommend but a little difficult to get to, taxi or car needed. Restaurant varied, staff attentive, Breakfast 8.00-10.00 am- Evening meal 7.30-9.45 a little later but worked well. Wine price 10/12 euros house wine reasonable. Food really good on a Saturday night more choice, food not always hot before Saturday night, but still ok maybe 3 star for food. Hotel shop well stocked, water soft drinks, supermarket prices gifts varied. Pool cleaned daily , gardens well kept, pool deep with a dipping pool with shade from palm trees excellent. Pool Snack bar, excellent great sandwiches and staff service. Entertainment last night soul sisters fantastic, other nights ok not busy. Good location 5 mins walk beach or central commercial, bars sunset. Spa excellent spent an hour in afternoon when it was really hot, free for guests but 3 euros for swimming cap . May be 15mins treatment would be an idea 30 euros was cheapest. Hope to book again.

Very clean and comfy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Worth a special mention is Gabriel and his co-workers in restaurant and bars.They were brilliant. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year.

Lovely, small and friendly hotel. Nice modern rooms with lovely extra touches like bath robes and a kettle Hotel clean and well maintained, good pool area but half of the loungers in the shade at some point.. Food mostly cooked well but same dishes repeated throughout our7 days stay. Would advise NOT to go the week of 21st June as we were invaded by large groups of teenagers to celebrate summer solstice

We have stayed at this hotel several times at different times of the year. This was our first time with Jet2. The hotel and the staff never disappoint and we will definitely return. Breakfast was excellent as usual.

This review will maybe help someone booking a holiday next year as the season has almost finished for this year. The hotel is set in a quiet area of Cala Blanca and has only two floors with the Spa area in the basement. We're booked into our room on arrival after paying the 76 euro tourist tax for the two week stay, the rooms are quite spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, a fridge and a kettle. The bathroom was a bit small but had all the necessary fittings, shower, bath, toilet etc.Over the two weeks the room was cleaned to a very high standard and the lady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted something. The restaurant was good and the food range over the period was of good quality with lots to choose from. The chef at the grill was very friendly and made sure all food was cooked properly before serving. Local buses run into Ciutdella approx every hour and only costs 1.65 euro single trip. We hired bicycles for 11 euros per day and there are lots of cycle tracks into Ciutdella, Calan Bosch and Calan Forecat, at 65 it was relatively easy with not many hills.Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and the surrounding area has plenty of walks, a beach within 300 yrs walk and Ciutdella has plenty of charm and not the tacky appearance of some resorts

Nice hotel but they did serve refreshments round the pool in glass recepticals which is very unsafe for children and persons with walking difficulties some glasses were broken and not very well brushed up.Staff sometimes were short changing customers

More an average 3 *.Choice at evening meals limited,but, good breakfast and tasty bar meals.Staff are brilliant ,nothing is too much.Staff carry out entertainment,they make the best of limited supplies.Lady Z was brilliant,must see.Domestics carry out basic clean.No fighting for sunbeds.Very limited night life so not for those wanting this,not much of a strip left due to closures.Rooms could do with a makeover

Good location.Easy to get into town but also quieter resort. Small beach 5mins walk and nice coastal walks. Shops and bars immediately outside with good selection..Hotel is "Small n friendly".Clean with good facilities. Good bus service just outside and local hire cars.Breakfast very good.

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful. Room always clean. Will return. Resort beautiful and restaurants amazing. Would recommend using Jet2 again. Transfer could not be faulted. Make sure you visit Calan Bosch on the connecting bus and also Cuitadella.
