Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The rooms were fairly compact but beautifully presented. The bathroom was luxurious and there were fluffy robes and slippers supplied. The standard of hygiene was excellent. Staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them and always completed with a smile. The food was also to a really good standard and ahem was on hand to cook from scratch while you watched.

Excellent hotel. Pristine room and public areas. Well tended pool area and gardens. Uphill walk from nearby marina so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Plenty of restaurants in immediate vicinity.

Had a great week at this hotel in February. Everywhere was spotlessly clean & the rooms were cleaned everyday. We stayed on a B & B basis and the breakfasts were great but obviously can't speak about the evening meal. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay here again. It was very quiet due to the time of year.

Modern,clean and well positioned near the village and harbour. I have been going to this hotel for about ten years and feel like family. The staff work so hard and are very friendly and curtious .The breakfast is plentiful with cava too if you want a glass to wash it down and the pool bar serves lovely food at a reasonable price

The hotel is located on a hillside, beside a very busy road. It's actually an ideal location if you're wanting to stay in Portals Nous. The beach is only a 10 minute walk down the hill and there are shops and restaurants close by. The hotel is quite dated and by no means comfortable. The staff are all friendly and catered for our 10 month old son really well. The facilities are ok; pool area is ok and choice of onsite restaurants is relatively basic. The appearance of the hotel from the outside isn't much to look at - a tired concrete structure really. We had an issue on two of the nights as a group of women had come over for a weekend away and we're staying in the room above us...the noise of their heels on the floor echoed through our room into the early hours which was keeping my son awake (hence us awake too). I went to reception to complain and to their credit they were happy to resolve the situation after a couple of trips downstairs. In all, I would argue that Portals Nous isn't the best location on the island for a young family, and travelling a bit further from Palma will get you nicer accommodation at a more reasonable price. We were only in Portals for a wedding and won't be returning to this part of the island (certainly will to other parts of Majorca). I'd only stay at this hotel if it were for a short weekend and you're out a lot, or if you want to stay in Portals on a 'budget'.

First time at the Marina Portals hotel and very pleased we were to. The hotel was excellent , spotless clean throughout, and such an array of things to do. Only had breakfast in hotel a few lunches by the pool and one Tapas meeal in the evening that was superb. Overall the food was very good, the staff always very attentive and helpful. would recomend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is in a great location and it is with walking distance (30-45mins) to Palma Nova/Magaluf and there is also a good bus route just down the street to places like Santa Ponsa, Palma Nova, Porto Pi and Palma. It is also situated beside Puerto Portals which boast a great collection of bars and yachts and also Marineland to entertain children. It is great for cycling groups. The area around the hotel is quiet and it suitable for all types of guests. The Main Street outside the hotel also has a wide variety of Restaurants (steak, Indian, Thai, British, tapas and chip shop) and bars along with a local supermarket which has everything you would need. I have been staying at this hotel at least one a year for the past 17 years and I cannot fault the hotel!! It has been recently been upgraded to an excellent standard and the staff and management are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a wide buffet range for breakfast and dinner depending on which stay you choose but they also have a bar near the pool where you can buy lunch or a tapas restaurant in reception. Don't be surprised if you see a UK celebrity staying at hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bed are comfortable and they are cleaned to a high standard, the rooms also has a kettle and dressing gowns. Clothes storage could be improved however this just might be the fact that I am a woman and I do not pack lightly. Much to my delight i also received a gift of cava delivered to my room from the hotel director Toni Daviu and the staff which was greatly appreciated. All in all a hotel that cannot be faulted!!

The Marina Portals is an Excellent hotel...it's clean and comfortable in a rather quiet resort. The Marina and Beach are a good walk away but swimmers will enjoy the hotel's lovely pool. Would recommend it.

Recently refurbished hotel. Rooms very comfortable, most overlooking the pool and getting evening sunshine. Friendly, helpful staff. Very few guests ate their evening meal in the hotel despite excellent, varied and reasonably priced food.

Lovely and comfortable all facilities as they should be perfect breakfast good staff very pleasant and I really enjoyed the ironing room all my clothes were crease free!!didnt charge for safe or towels
