Inturotel Cala Azul

The rooms within this hotel are in a bad need of an upgrade, What we paid for this holiday and what we got was ripped off ,furniture in the rooms are badly worn and old the so called kitchenette is a sink , unit and broken fridge , you have to pay to use the safe and pool towels , if you need an iron you are told to go to a laundry off site , the balcony was a good size thank good as we sat there mostly due to the depressing room , be aware when booking there are 3 hotels on site you need to book the 4 star rooms to get a better more modern hotel and room

Superb accommodation very clean & spacious good kitchen facilities for Self catering Good sized pool area & great pool centrally located for everything Reception & Housekeeping staff very friendly & helpful

First time back since lockdown resort may have changed but hotel just as welcoming excellent staff all very helpful nothing was to much trouble cleaning was spotless can’t wait to come back next year my grandchildren are counting down already

The overall cleanliness, food, pool area, kids club and family feel of the hotel was of high standard. The lower star rating has been given due an accident that happened in the apartment and the unsatisfactory way in which we felt it was dealt with by the hotel. I felt more should have been done to ensure the room we were staying in was safe for us and other families who would be staying there .

Fantastic . Cannot fault the place excellent position in calador area not too far out . And not too noisy either .Great beaches very close by . Shops and restaurants close were also great too . Good prices and service

Loved everything about it.Lovely location. The views are beautiful. Rooms spacious and clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Would definitely visit again. Love cala d'or

This was our first holiday in 3 years so we had hoped it would amazing and it was. From the cleanliness of the room and resort to the gorgeous scenary and spacious pool area. I liked the way you could use the neighbouring hotel and it's facilities. The entertainment of an evening was also excellent, from the kids mini disco which my six year old daughter loved to the shows that followed after which were of a high standard. Can take little while to get served with drinks so we sometimes went to the bar instead. The only downside was there was no conciage to help with luggage but I know I am being picky, I just like this. Overall a fantastic holiday and can't wait to return.

set by the sea Cala Azul park is a resort hotel that is part of a group. Badly in need of a refurb as so many of these types of hotel are. The pool was unheated and exceptionally cold, no wonder hardly anyone ventured in, why so much had been spent on this facility then spoilt for lack of heating it I don't know. The safety deposit box was the most expensive i have come across Euro 35.Pool towels after a deposit was Euro1 per day. Now for the good the staff were excellent and friendly. The cleaners never stopped cleaning but seemed to have far to much to do properly. We gave our lady Euro 10 and she was worth it and very appreciative of the acknowledgment .Our room had a lovely sea view and on the ground floor. I e-mailed asking for a mobility friendly room with a decent view because if I'm more rickety than usual I need to just sit on the balcony watching the world go by. Thank you Cala Azul Park for the placement. We were self catering so did not eat in the hotel. The self catering was adequate . The town was a 15/20 minute walk and the marina about another 10/15 minutes further on. There were bars and restaurants much closer and the onsite pizza minigolf snack bar is very good. We had an Indian meal one night and quite nice but nothing like we recognise here.The food is very samey and I didn't find anywhere I could get a paella for one. There is a mini train/bus which is handy, very uncomfortable but worth a round trip at E4.50 or a single journey at E2.50 to save the legs, get off at number 3 for the town centre (you will understand when you go on it) or get off at the marina and walk back into town. In April much of the resort is still sleeping and our pool bar had not opened for the season yet either (unlike the canaries which are year round)so in summary ' Not the ideal destination for winter/ early spring sun The hotel needs a refurb but the location and staff great !
