Hotel Cala d'Or

Well located clean hotel with friendly helpful staff BUT action is needed by management to deter selfish guests who think they have a God given right to place towels and reserve loungers at 6am but not use them until nearer 11. Hotel management should unceremoniously remove those towels and the offending selfish guests will soon get the message. I counted a total of 90 loungers which is clearly insufficient for a hotel this size. The selfish actions of the guests might be deterred if the hotel introduces a small charge payable at the bar for a lounger ticket.

As a surprise 50th birthday treat we flew out to majorca and stayed at cala d'or hotel The hotel was lovely and clean we were greeted at 1am by a considerate and well spoken spanish gentleman who greeted us with warmth We were shown to our room which was very clean and tidy The.view from the balcony when we woke up was amazing we could see the sea and the beach as the hotel was right on the beach Breakfast was amazing too much choice just glad we were there for a week to sample it all From continental breakfast to cooked breakfast cheeses hams fruit cereal and exotic meats and honeycomb There were a selection of pastries Selection of coffees and tea hot chocolate and either orange or pineapple juice All self service as much as you want I think we looked it up in the room menu and breakfast was 15 euro The hotel had a private pool and a snack bar where you can order food and a wide selection of drinks really good A nice little touch was when you were by the pool everyone had a kebab of melon at 10am and around 12 noon we all got a frozen towel to cool down great service The room had a large walk in shower the beds were very comfortable and clean and changed every day The air con was very effective a little noisy but after a day outside it was welcome cool and we slept well through out the night The beach bar was where there was a selection of drinks and food and a bbq right on the beach All service was pleasant and helpful The beach at cala d'or was amazing so picturesque Fantastic place will come again

Super location overlooking beautiful cove with beach. Room was clean and spacious.the staff were pleasant and very accommodating.pool area was clean and very relaxing with plenty of sun lingers although it could be busier in the height of summer. Would definitely stay here on returning to the area.only down side was it had no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Our perfect location, for a perfect holiday. Amazing hotel, excellent service, good food, and friendly staff. It's our favourite summer/beach location! Close to all amenities, if you want to leave the hotel, good restaurants on the marina.

Hotel is in a very good location for beach and town. Hotel was very clean the room was basic and had a very limited sea view despite purchasing sea view room. Staff can only be described as courteous and efficient but not over friendly. Expect very good young lady looking after the pool bar. Outstanding worker

What a fantastic location, right on the beach, 200 yards from the centre yet really peaceful. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We stayed there for a week ending 11th July and it fulfilled all our expectations, we had a double room with a sea view, the room was spacious and very clean and was situated directly above the pool bar. The sea view was a little restricted because of trees. We went half board but we would probably go bed and breakfast next time, the breakfast was to die for, evrything you could imagine was there at your mercy.The restaurant was super clean and the service was first class. All in all very worthy of it's 4 star rating and we desperatley want to go back but it looks as though rooms for 2017 are already hard to get.
