Jet2holidays have teamed up with Perfect Weddings Abroad Limited, who are industry-leading wedding specialists and will create your Jet2Wedding. Since 2005, they’ve been one of the UK’s leading destination wedding planners and have organised weddings for thousands of couples around the world.

Perfect Weddings Abroad will use their industry-leading experience to provide your wedding arrangements and Jet2holidays will provide your package holiday to go alongside it.

You can choose from over 35 hotels across the island of Cyprus for your special day.

Once you’ve filled out our enquiry form, you’ll be contacted by a Jet2Weddings expert. You’ll receive a bespoke quote that’s tailored to your dream wedding alongside handy advice, guidance and peace of mind throughout the whole process.

Weddings can often be cheaper abroad compared to the UK, depending on the type of wedding and overall style you want. You can choose from a range of wedding options to suit all budgets. Alongside your wedding, Jet2holidays will provide your package holiday.

To secure your wedding booking, you’ll need to pay a deposit of 30% of the wedding cost, or at least £300 (whichever figure is higher) per couple. You will also need to pay a £60 per person holiday deposit to Jet2holidays.

We advise you to make sure your insurance policy cover is sufficient for your specific arrangements (e.g. cancellation cover limits, cost of your wedding attire, etc). Wedding insurance must always be taken in addition to a comprehensive travel insurance policy, and it’s your responsibility to be sure that your wedding insurance policy is adequate.

For peak holiday periods, we recommend you book two years in advance to maximise the chance of getting the date you want. Please note, all bookings need to be made a minimum of 12 weeks in advance due to legal paperwork deadlines.

Most hotels provide instant confirmation of your wedding date.

You’ll receive lots of handy information in your Wedding Confirmation Pack, including the documents you’ll need to take. Sometimes we need to send paperwork in advance of your arrival, but in other circumstances, you’ll just need to take it with you. As standard, you’ll need: 

• Passports (valid for at least six months after your return to the UK)
• Birth certificates (full-length birth certificates, showing both your parents’ full names)
• If previously married, you’ll need to provide legal evidence of your single status
• If applicable, adoption and/or deed poll certificates

Your wedding co-ordinator will be on hand to guide you through this process, but it’s ultimately the couple's responsibility to make sure all paperwork is fully prepared within the correct timescales.

No, if you've completed the all-important legal paperwork process fully, when you choose to have a legal wedding ceremony abroad, it’s registered in the country where the ceremony takes place and legally recognised in the UK.  

In some instances, your marriage certificate is issued straight away, and you can take it home with you. In others, it can take longer to process, so will then be posted to you. 

In addition to the usual Jet2holidays 22kg baggage allowance per person, you will receive an additional 22kg bag. You’ll also be able to use our Guaranteed Cabin Luggage service to keep those extra-special items with you during your flight.

Yes, as well as the £100 discount off your wedding holiday, you’ll also receive discount codes to share with your wedding guests – £100 per couple and £50 for solo travellers. They can use these when booking their travel to your wedding separately. T&Cs apply, and will be sent to you via email.

No, they can book their Jet2holiday separately and stay in a different hotel. Plus, all guests can use their discount codes regardless of where they choose to stay for the wedding. There are some great offers available for group bookings. 

No, there are great options for elopements, where your day can be tailored to just the two of you. 

As part of your Jet2Weddings booking, you’ll receive free Guaranteed Cabin Luggage, which means you can carry your wedding dress with you as hand luggage and be certain of keeping it with you. This would need to have a maximum weight of 10kg and be no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm, including any wheels and handles.

Your wedding contract will be with Perfect Weddings Abroad and their booking terms and conditions will apply. Your contract for your package holiday will be with Jet2holidays and Jet2holidays booking terms and conditions will apply.

No, gay weddings aren’t legally recognised in Cyprus, although same-sex celebrations and ceremonies can still be held on the island, with the legal wedding taking place in the UK before or after.
