If waterparks are your thing then Slide and Splash, one of the largest waterparks in the Algarve, will tick all the boxes. Brave the Kamikaze and the Black Hole or race your friends on the Banzai speed lanes. Away from the slides, there’s an Olympic-sized swimming pool if you want to relax and a fun-packed kids’ area with colourful animal features and a tipping water bucket.
For the thrill-seekers
From steep drops to winding twists and turns, only the most daring can take on these hair-rising rides and slides. Make a beeline for the Black Hole and Kamikaze if you’re all about speed or take on the Tornado and Disco River if you want to spin out of control.
30 years of fun
Since opening its doors back in 1986, Slide and Splash has been providing thrills and spills to thousands of holidaymakers. The park prides itself on staying current, so regularly updates and renovates its amenities, so you know you’re getting the best experience. The most recent being the Big Tower and Kamikaze.
A spot of R&R
After a busy morning on the slides, why not kick back on a lounger and soak up the warm Portuguese sunshine? The park covers a huge ten hectares, so there’s plenty of grassy areas with loungers and umbrellas to spread out on. You could even enjoy a massage or trip to the fish spa if you want an extra-special treat.
Bars and restaurants
There’s a handful of restaurants, snack bars and shops on-site serving those all-important refreshments to keep you going during your visit to the park. There’s a huge range of food on the menu, from hamburgers and sandwiches to hot dogs, salads and pizzas. You can then wash it all down with fruity slushes, ice creams and sweet crepes.
Explore the park
Across the huge site, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for fun in the sun. Hop between the slides then cool off in one of the inviting pools. It really is a fun-filled day out for the whole family!
For the little ones
If your gang are a bit too small for the bigger slides, there’s still plenty to keep them occupied here. There’s a dedicated set of foam slides reserved only for the kids alongside Tropical Paradise, a colourful splash park with an animal theme.
Capture those memories
Before you leave, stop by the waterpark’s gift shop to pick up fun souvenirs to remind you of your day out. Here, you can also buy any professional photos that you’ve had taken throughout the day.
Chill-out zones
Need a time-out? There’s the River Ride, Jacuzzi and the Big Wave pool to enjoy a dip in. Unwind in the rays or soak up the lively atmosphere by the water’s edge. Slowing down the pace and taking it easy is the name of the game in these relaxing areas.
