Tuntas Suites Altinkum

On arrival we were told we had to pay extra for aircon which was £5 per day, that would not have been a problem if it was any good. There was just 1 air con unit which was In the living room meaning the bedroom was unbearably hot and we all ended up sleeping in the living room . The room was very dated and had plaster falling off the walls and exposed live wires hanging out of the walls .

Apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy. Balcony areas were fantastic. Pool area brilliant and both pools plenty big enough. Bar prices very good and food was fantastic. The staff are very warm, welcoming and friendly. Cant wait to return again soon.

We had seen lots of good reviews of Tuntas Hotel but did not realise Tuntas Suites were a separate building. We arrived in the early hours and was greeted by a friendly night manager then it all went downhill I'm afraid. We were shown to our apartment on the fifth floor and no lift so was a struggle so not a good start. The room looked ok at first glance but air con would not work but we were so tired we just went to bed. Next morning we found numerous other faults, No fire escape so very dangerous, bathroom very small, small terrace door would not lock, kitchen sink tap very loose. Reported all to management. Sent someone to sort air con who told us to lift cover and switch on and off manually. Was told other faults would be repaired but no one came after complaining severel more times. We had to put up with this for 2 weeks in sept 2016 and we won't be going back.

Took my family of 5 to the Tuntas suites in Aug for a fortnight. With this being our 1st time in Altinkum, I chose what I thought would be a cheap and cheerful place to stay. How wrong could I have been...This place is down as 2 to 3 star accommodation but to be fair the staff make it more like 4 star....The manager Efkan could not have done anything more to make our hols any more special, going out of his way daily to talk to us all and to make sure everything was OK. .Lauren kept the place ticking over, making sure you had everything you needed whilst round the poolside...As for Jet 2 reps Fatima & Kaye , they were there on a daily basis for all our needs and more....Everyone involved with the apts and the reps made this probably the best family holiday we've ever had, so much so that we are booking again for the same time next year.....room 204 is the biggest family room I've ever stayed in and hopefully it will be available to us when we return. ......GREAT TIME & GREAT MEMORIESERVICE. ....
