Mukarnas Resort & Spa

Really great hotel! Our family would like to go there again! We were in beginning of november- sea temperature good, in pool refreshing! Spa was wonderful! Staff very friendly! Food was good- everyone can find something for them! Kids club looked really fantastic!

We booked this hotel because everything we read and photos we saw were excellent (even though it was 2 hours from the airport). The moment we arrived a porter took our luggage (3am) and the receptionist was really friendly. ALL staff were superb, mannered and went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. The resort is excellent. Every facility has been thought out and was fitting for its purpose. Jet2 reps were around when we needed to book trips etc and if not the reception were on hand to answer all our questions. The room was sufficient for our family of 4. The pullout out bed was a little uncomfortable for my youngest but one phonecall to reception and within 10 minutes they came and sorted it. The room was spotless! The cleaners were lovely too. Food was available at 3 different places within the resort and there was a massive selection. The entertainment staff were fantastic as was all the shows put on every evening- we had a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going here.

Absolutely loved our 2 weeks at this hotel . On arrival the outside was wow . Doors open to amazing air conditioning and an amazing reception area and bar . On arrival staff greeted and welcomed us . . The porter Mohamed took our luggage . All staff on reception including Mohamed spoke English . We were then told to meet Mohamed on our floor where our room was . Glass lifts took us up to our floor . The views from them fabulous. Rooms were lovely . We were allocated a family room . Huge king size bed , a French bed and a single . We had a sea view to the right and outside market ( on a Friday ) to the left . The staff in this hotel are amazing and they all to a fantastic job to keep the place spotless . Always serving there guests . The entertainment staff by the pool are just brilliant always trying to get everyone involved and they are all very happy . The restaurant has a million different foods on offer and cater for even the fussiest diners . We had a full Turkish spa/ bath . 100% I recommend this place . We had 5star treatment from the moment we arrived . Thank you so much for an excellent holiday .

The hotel itself is lovely. Beautifully kept, really nice staff. Very helpful. The beach was dire. No sand, just awful stones and large pebbles. The food was dreadful for an English vegan. I retorted back to being a vegetarian so I could actually eat. There were three bread bins clearly labelled; Pastry with sausage, pastry with cheese, pastry plain. I opted for plain pastry. Half way through eating it, I notice that there is a sausage in my pastry. It’s a good job I didn’t have an allergy. Just diabolical. The rest of the food was covered in a thick oil, making a lot of it not edible. I basically lived off chips and salad for the week. I paid for late check out but was pestered by 4 members of staff to leave the room. I was scared of leaving my room to get food or drink in case I came back and they removed my things. Disgraceful.
