California Garden

This hotel was a pleasure to stay, we arrived early evening and the reception staff were very helpful booking us in, we were given room 645 which had a pool view and spacious and bright, we both were very impressed and keen to go down for our evening meal. We are both gluten and wheat free we spoke to the head waitress who made suggests what we could eat, this was very helpful and we found plenty to eat. The breakfast was the same we were given gluten free bread (toast) mini muffins and cookies, I also had fruit fresh water melon and sometimes fried egg and bacon. The pool area and beds are cleaned daily as is the room. The hotel Is situated near to the shops and a short walk to the beach front which is beautiful the beds on the beach with cover are €24 - €26 and they do look after u. Cocktails are amazing on the beach front, We found lots of Gluten free places and ate at two places for gluten free Pizza. Which was delicious with Sangria.

Basic hotel, no umbrellas at pools (only 2 large ones near stage) rooms not cleaned properly. Good choice of food - something for everyone but restaurant is extremely busy at times. Entertainment staff try but not alot for older kids - my son is 11 and wanted to play pool but was told only for adults. Alot of people mention noise from club but we didnt think it was that bad and we had a pool view room.

The hotel was over run by unattended School Children who were there for some kind of tornaments, well they won the one for winding up paying customers. The only staff I'd give credit to are the hard working room maids and kitchen staff, the others were either rude or ignorant and some a mixture of both. I booked here last minute and didn't review, rookie error but I wanted to surprise a family member who were staying around the corner, so I can't comment too much on the entertainment as I spend most of my time out of the place. The food was good apart from the breakfasts so I ended up down at Lindas Bar for a full english, it's a short walk away and I highly recommend. Don't pay for a fridge as once you leave your room all the electric goes off once you've removed your key card. Take a kettle and cups, there's a supermarket across the road for cheaper bottled water than the hotel charge you for.

Stayed at california gardens 10th July 1 week... As we arrived bear in mind 15 family members ...arrival from jet2 company. Superb from start to finish....reception happy an busy but they helpful. Pools are clean an tidy ...No inflatables...balls....water shooters are allowed which was a let down for children wanting a little fun as it was so hot ...entertainment day staff very lovely not much going on during most times ...night entertainment not really enough to make you stay....but plenty to do out ....beach was perfect clean and area was good for showers ..toilets ..food.. drinks ..fruit....and play areas for kids...price wise tho your better off going in supermarkets...plenty transport

Do not worry about negative reviews This hotel is exactly what i would expect of a 3* hotel in Spain Everyone was friendly and efficient Very clean and great location My only observation would be that the bed in the room was not very comfortable

lovely hotel clean and friendly staff two good size pools with cildrens section in each only one draw back which is not the fault of the hotel is the Flash Back Nightclub opposite which starts at around 11pm till 6am fri/sat/sun howeverif you speak to the staff at reception they will endeavor to move you to a quieter room where ever possible
