Sol Port Cambrils

Stayed at Sol Port Cambrils for a week. First impressions was Wow! Lovely new building, modern interior. Friendly and helpful staff on reception who take customer service seriously. Nice little touch with the Free flavoured water by reception and comfy seating area. On arrival, had to wait for rooms but got in an hour earlier. The rooms are lovely and clean and I especially love the bathroom with the overhead shower, also nice to have a bidet. Modern, clean as well as having the balcony. Free safe to use, which was great and mine went faulty and was replaced straight away, very impressed. Enjoyed evening meals and the live entertainment was a lovely touch. Staff helpful and accommodating with my son who has a fish allergy, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast, fab esp the women making fresh Omelettes, she’s a star. The pools are clean and easy access to a sun lounger. If you need a reading book there’s a book shelf near the lifts. I used the gym and there’s a sauna. There is a fridge in the room with a mini bar but the prices are expensive when there is an Aldi practically next door. Great to store items for lunch. The hotel is close to the beach and all the shops are nearby. We hired bikes from the hotel that was good. Brakes too noisy though. Yes, there is a train track, but it’s not intrusive and you forget it’s there. No problems sleeping. Great hotel - would definitely return. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Sad to be back but will return.

We had a 10 day stay at this hotel and really cannot find much fault with it. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was great and spotlessly clean. The beds were the comfiest we have slept in abroad and were excellent quality. The food was amazing and there was always plenty to choose from. The pool was very quiet and there were always plenty of sunbeds so all in all we had a very restful holiday and would certainly recommend this hotel to friends. Excellent WiFi throughout the hotel too.

very close to train lines but for us this was not a problem and I saw something very strange no towels on sunbeds it is a hotel that caters for all sorts cyclists golfs very good rooms and clean would I go back again YES

If you like trains get a room with a pool view. If you're looking for quality food opt for Breakfast only and eat out in many of the excellent restaurants in town. If you want bar service, get used to ringing the bell and waiting, or use the vending machines or go into town. If you expect happy & welcoming staff stay elsewhere. If you're looking for a resort hotel - not this one - ok if you just want a nice room, forget everything else you would expect from a holiday hotel.

Excellent location a short walk from the beach and bustling promenade. Brilliant food, friendly staff without being too personal. Free air conditioning, safe and towel hire, (although a ten euro deposit required) rooms cleaned every day and entertainment provided most nights. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
