Hotel Plaza Cavana

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast excellent, and excellent central location for all restaurants, shops and walks. Old town, full of character, and with a constant buzz during the evening. Italian quarter for restaurants particularly recommended

We recently stayed at the Plaza Cavana for the fourth time and as ever, we could not fault the hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent with loads of choice. We use the hotel as a base for walking in the surrounding hills and whilst the weather was rather inclement this time it did not spoil the enjoyment of the week. If there was a downside, it is at the moment there is building work outside which starts at 6.30 each morning so a lie in may not be possible. However, we knew about the work and it did not spoil the holiday.

This was our third trip to Nerja so we knew the area pretty well. The hotel is very nice. The rooms modern clean and spacious. Espresso machine was a nice touch. Beautiful bathroom. Small balcony overlooking the square. Breakfast good. Beds a little hard for our liking. Lovely pool area on roof terrace. Lovely views of the sea. Would definitely return.

We have been to Nerja quite a few times. This time we used Jet2 Holidays and booked a package. The hotel is great, right in the Center of town ideally placed for all the shops and sights. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very central near to the Balcon de Europe and had a major referb the back end of 2016. We had a standard comfort room, the bed area was big enough, the bathroom was massive with shower, bath with air jets sink and toilet. Breakfast catered for all tastes from full english, to fruit with as much tea/coffee and juice as you wanted. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Have used the hotel before the referb and have booked again for Christmas.

Excellent hotel. Spotless clean. Rooms very spacious. Breakfast is excellent, but hot foods such as bacon, eggs, sausage etc usually only warm not hot. Lovely pleasant staff. Comfy beds. Ideal location.Excellent roof terrace with lovely views. Well worth a visit.

Dont have any hesitation in staying here. Amazing set on a beautiful square. Open the shutters and balcony door and experience the life of the spanish with the chatter and wonderful music and atmosphere of the square. 2 mins to balcone de europe and 5 mins to 3 local beaches. Hotel is a jem but dont tell anyone.

Fabulous hotel in the perfect location to explore Nerja. Loved it and would visit again. Amazing restaurants would definitely recommend Gusto, Scarlettas and 34. 34 was my favourite but maybe for a more special meal or celebration. Beaches clean and only 9 Euros for 2 beds with a brolly all day.

Best place ever for relaxing holiday with everything you want within easy walking distance . Walk out the door and enjoy. Proper Spanish hotel with brilliant staff, excellent service and brilliant views from roof top pool and snack bar . Nothing too much trouble for this group of staff.

Stayed in a superior room with my husband and son. Room was of a good size, beds very comfortable and very clean. All staff were very friendly, breakfasts were very good hot and cold buffet with plenty of selection. Great location and by far the best accommodation I have stayed in at nerja. Will definitely return. Some people have complained about it being noisy but that is down to inconsiderate guests slamming doors .

Nerja can't wait to go back, nice hotel very clean excellent location. Breakfast selection excellent something for eveyones palet. Plenty to see in Nerja all on the doorstep of this hotel. Beach a short walk.

Great freindly hotel right in the old town. Spotless rooms with great authentic feel. Seconds from cafe/bars and the Plaza/Balcon et cetera. Better for couples or single travellers! If you like a touch of the old Spain this hotel is for you but if you are looking for a typical beach hotel with children then I would say this hotel is not for you. This is my fourth visit to this hotel and will be going back next year God willing. Excellent!

This hotel is right in the centre of Nerja. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of everything to suit all tastes and eat as much as you like. The rooftop area was nice but understandably the little bar up there wasn't open at this time of year.
