Ilunion Miramar

Stayed here for 9 nights and enjoyed every minute. Great size rooms and huge pool. The kids club had something going on every couple of hours and the way the Hotel is set out its safe to give the kids a bit of freedom as the only way to get out is the main front doors. Decent evening entertainment and the drinks at the bar very reasonable €2.50 for a pint of lager or a large wine. Huge Carrefour shop across the road that sells everything so makes self catering very easy. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 min walk into the town centre and 15 min walk to the water park also a bus stop at the front of the hotel with a childrens park. Would definately visit again.

Nice clean hotel and room, friendly helpful staff, location a bit out of the way, nothing around the area for a night time drink in local bar's, for us it was a good half hour walk to resort, although a bus stop close by solved that, once in town a really nice place to wander around and a very long prom to walk. we went half board and wasn't to impressed with the food on offer, breakfast was ok with the normal eggs baconbacon, hams cheese and cereals ect. Evening's not so good, ok salad bar, awful soup, main course meats ok, but the veg all tinned or frozen, cold chips, never a roast or boiled potato, selection of deserts but no ice cream. In all not bad for price paid but if you do go just do bed and breakfast.

had a 10 night stay here over Xmas self catering .As has previously been said by other reviewers, decor of rooms seriously needs updating, we had 2 single beds pushed together! couldn't fault cleanliness, top marks to house keeping staff.Bar staff also very friendly and efficient. unfortunately the location of the hotel was just too far from main seafront bars and restaurants. We loved fuengirola and will definitely return but will stay closer to the marina area next time. Overall we did have a pleasant stay at this hotel but it was just too far out for us and we're quite active.

Spacious 2 bed apartment. Good pool area excellent bar with food. Tried buffet but wouldn’t recommend all inclusive. Pool towel saving sun bed situation ridiculous. Close to great shopping centre but need taxi into town & beach.

This was our first stay at the hotel and I have to say I was really surprised with the quality of the hotel for the money paid. Lovely pool and staff, cleaner came in everyday and hotel was reslly clean. The apartment was good lots of space if I was to be critical I would have preferred to have an oven for self catering, and childrens entertainment was on very late. All in all I would recommend this as a good value choice for families.

Not enough sun beds and no room for more , we couldn't get 3 together because many selfish people rushed down with towels then never came back.nice and clean but old fashioned .near the fabulous Myramar shopping centre also 15 minute walk to beach . Loved la calla a d mijas

We love this hotel, ideally placed near the large shopping centre and the lovely part of Fuengirola. This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. We enjoy the location and love the super pool areas. The life guards are fabulous and attentive. The staff at the outdoor bars are really helpful and friendly. We enjoy being to use the indoor pool. The kitchen looked refurbished this year and we enjoyed using the kitchen to self cater on some occasions. There is a park on site which my son age 6 has enjoyed in previous years and continued to this year. The rooms are spacious enough and the balcony area pleasant with seating and drying rack. The facilities are excellent. We have stayed many times at Fuengirola Beach which is also good but our preference is the Myramar. A short walk takes you to the seafront. We visited the castle this year which was again super. The hotel staff are helpful and the 2 for 1 happy hour is always something to look forward to for a tipple at the end of the day. We will return in October with my parents and hope to have a room in the block overlooking the children’s pool.

Had a wonderful family holiday at the Myramar Hotel in Fuengirola. We were self catering. We had an awesome apartment on the third floor with two sets of patio doors onto a large balcony. There were plenty of sun loungers. Everywhere was very clean including our apartment which was clean and we had fresh towels whenever we needed them. The vodka with a mixer was quite pricey we thought but other than that it was a fabulous place to stay. We would definitely return.

We stayed at the hotel myramar for a fantastic 2 weeks. The hotel is a little way out from the centre (15 minute walk), however we were happy with this as away from the noise but close enough to be involved if we wished. Lovely walk along river to the beach (5 min) with activities along the way, trampolines zip wire, pedalo. The hotel had great large pools to suit adults and children our 2 year old become very confident in water. Plenty of sun lounges although hilarious watching people queue and run at 10am. Rooms spacious and clean.

The pool area is lovely and well managed. The self catering accommodation is very basic but sufficient. However the kitchen areas are in dire need of refurbishment and are very shabby. The food served at the pool area was unreasonably expensive and whilst they served a few children's meals they were too big and therefore got wasted.

Excellent holiday would definitely recommend and would return kids loved it as much as us lots to do in the day and night we loved our holiday with jet2 and hopefully will be booking again in the near future

Just returned from a 1 week stay and have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The rooms were very clean and towels and toilet rolls provided daily,beds made etc. Fantastic childrens entertainment throughout the whole day and night with lots of things to join in with if the children wished to. The pool was huge with 3 life guards constantly. The pool was open until 7.30 pm. Pool bar was good reasonable prices for food with large portions. Average drink prices. Shopping centre next door and a Lidl within close walking distance. Lovely walk by the canal to the beach front. Taxi into main town €7 also reasonable. Water park within walking distance and reasonably priced. We would definitely go back to this hotel.
