fantastic hotel, friendly staff spotlessly clean , everyone very helpfull, have stayed several times and never disappointed will be back soon , and can not wait, elsa on reception told of places we had not seen in the algarve, as we had been going 30 years we thought we had seen it all, till Elsa told us new ones

Lovely hotel with spacious apartment. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Evening meal OK just not a lot of choice, wouldn't normally eat in the hotel however no restaurant within walking distance. Spacious pool area with plenty of sunbeds.

Exceptional staff !!!! Very friendly helpful and polite. Would definitely go there again . The rooms and site were clean . The food was good and not expensive . Got to say again the staff were incredable

Lovely apartment with great views in apartment was staying in. Cleaner in every day. Bar and restaurant nothing special. Very well kept. Shuttle bus into main resort very good. Only downside lack of other restaurants and bars in area. Cab only €8 from main resort to apartments.

What can I say: From helping us getting around the algarve to an amazing pine & palm tree views to excellent service. We managed to rent bicycles and the views we saw were.. can't even put to words how beautiful it was. Could not have asked for any better!

Holidays here are great. Meet so many people who have been before. Have made lots of friends here including staff. It is so peaceful here and there is a local supermarket if you are self catering. Staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Average , dated accommodation, poor food but nice staff, notably the older gentleman whom carries out maintenance and drives the free bus to the marina and beach and the receptionist with black hair were both outstanding and a credit to the hotel. They both went above and beyond. I always left tips for drinks and food until I was expected to pay for a meal in which I found bugs crawling in my salad. I then did not purchase any further food or drinks from them. In any other country I wouldn't have been expected to pay for a meal in which I could not eat. The breakfast which was included as I paid in advance was very poor. We only tried it twice onna two week stay

We have been to this hotel every year for 14 years, only missing 2009 when our Daughter got married. The staff are brilliant and treat you like family with a great welcome. The rooms are great and linen and towels are changed every day. Everyone who goes to this fab place love it and many of them return year after year, like us. We have made many friends and arrange to meet with them every July. There is a small swimming pool for children and a bigger one for adults. Lots of families go there and both pools are always busy. My husband and I can't praise this hotel enough. It is first class.

If I was to have any negative notes, it would be that the hotel menu doesn't change from one week to the next,a bit of variety would of been nice.Having said that, we went into the marina to eat at night so there was no great problem.There's also the renowned Browns bar within walking distance.The free golf transport was superb, dropped us off and picking us back up.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel do Golf first week of July and after waiting months for a break from work it was just what we needed. The hotel is in a quiet location with a spar shop close by for essentials, the pool is never busy with plenty of sun loungers and space to relax. The marina is simple to access using the shuttle bus and we taxied back one Saturday night for less than 8 euros. We stayed half board and the breakfasts and dinners were brilliant!! A fish or meat option every night, I was worried as I am a very fussy eater however I loved every dinner on the menu and the staff are very flexible. All staff were very friendly and happy to help! We had an apartment room which was enormous for the two of us but lovely and cool with air con and cleaned daily. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel is if you have young children there isn't anything for them to do and you would want a car to get about with them otherwise I'd highly recommended to anyone!

This is the 4th time we have visited DO Golf at Vilamoura with Jet 2 Holidays. Like everyone before it was well above our expectations. The staff remain the same each year. The Management team really care. Elsa on reception, Head waiter Fernando make sure your treated well and you enjoy your visit. Rooms are cleaned to very high standard each day. We meet the same people each year one couple who have returned there for over 20 years, that says it all about the high standard and quality service. The free bus service each morning to the local supermarket is a bleating for self catering. There is also 4 other scheduled runs to the marina each day, again all are free courtesy of the managment. Breakfast choice caters for every need, cereals fresh fruit, cooked bacon and eggs etc. There is something for everyone. The site is very secure and is private with no overlooking balconies. If you want to just relax forget about everything this is the place for you. We have already made plans for next year, no hesitation. Jet 2 and Hotel Apartmento do Golfe is our annual retreat now. Highly recommended.

Located next to the Old Course the Hotel do Golfe is ideal for a golf holiday. Book your golf through the hotel before you go for great discounts and transfers to the courses when you play. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is great value. The whole staff are so friendly, pleasant and helpful - you'll enjoy your stay here.
