The Hotel Team were so welcoming and obliging from our arrival to departure a week later. The whole hotel is in good order, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was varied and always fresh produce and friendly service.

Lovely small hotel with friendly staff and good food. Close to a superb beach with little sandy coves just a few minutes walk away. A couple of beach restaurants within five minutes walk. Relaxing and quiet in June.

This hotel is extremely comfortable and in an area that has brilliant beaches the restaurant in the hotel is worth the visit with a full Alacarte menu the bar is very pleaseing and friendly the management are always on hand to give advise explain local areas

This hotel is extremely comfortable any thing that you required they make sure you get area food comfort brilliant pool area very well maintained and clean pool furniture very comfortable no need to put towels out early there are enough beds for all bar service is very good and knowledgeable reception area and staff are also very helpful

This is a very peaceful, clean and comfortable hotel. The ambience is assisted by soothing music being piped unobtrusively through the hotel and garden areas; candles and the occasional insence. The rooms are spacious with superb beds - very comfortable and a pillow menu(!) if you are not entirely satisfied with the one that has been provided. Bathroom was lovely, water hot with good pressure in the shower. Room was cleaned daily with the replacement of towels. There is a safe in the wardrobe which is free to use (NOT charged to room as indicated in one brochure). The pool and garden are lovely but sadly the pool is not heated and was far too cold to swim in at the end of October (& I'm quite a hardy lass!) the sea, however, was wonderful - beautifully clean and a delightful temperature. The location (with the sea and expansive beach in one direction and hidden coves and bays in the other) is terrific. The restaurant and bar are comfortable and well designed areas. The food and hotel vineyard wine are very good with an excellent variety of dishes to choose from each night (I stayed half board). Breakfast was also extensive and delicious - the fresh fruit and bread were particular favourites for me. The outstanding element of this hotel is the service. I felt that staff could not do more to make my stay as perfect as possible. My room was upgraded, little questions were answered with helpful responses, Filipe (not sure if that's the correct spelling!), the Head waiter, was exceptionally attentive, knowledgable, professional and friendly. He and his colleague Carlos work so hard to provide a service which is second to none. They both put me at ease (it was my first time as lone traveller) and I felt very settled and relaxed. I used the spa a few times and had some treatments which were all very good. If the sauna and steam room are not at temperature, you need to ask the staff to turn them on. While this can be frustrating to wait for, I fully appreciate the waste of energy if they are left switched on with nobody using them all day. I would, therefore, not see this as a problem, more something to be aware of.

A small hotel (40 rooms), located just 100m from a fabulous beach. Welcoming staff, spotlessly clean, good facilities, including spa and outdoor pool (unheated). Food was excellent, with full table service for dinner in a very quite, restful setting.

Nice beach just 5 minutes walk from the hotel which also has very nice beach restaurants serving excellent fresh fish dishes.

Really lovely hotel - very peaceful with fantastic staff. Would definitely recommend. Pool very good and not too busy. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger and the pool was never crowded. The beach is just a short walk away and sun beds can be hired for the day or half day.
