Nice 5* hotel but the area at night was a bit colourful .Nice private beach with top rate fish restaurant .Two other top class restaurants with food to die for. The roof top pool very nice but a lot of building work close by spoilt it.

A bit to lively at night with a lot of Gentleman's clubs close to hotel. Nice private beach and roof top pool to use during the day. Food excellent but drinks expensive as you would expect in a 5star hotel .

This is a 5 star hotel which I felt was a well-justified classification.The amenities were wide-ranging and of top quality. The room was such that I never had occasion to contact reception. The range and quality of food in all three restaurants was excellent.But what I felt was really outstanding was the pleasantness and helpfulness of the hotel staff which I felt was indicative of outstanding recruitment procedures and quality training.

Lovely hotel, best hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very clean and had a lovely room on the 12th floor overlooking the pool. Loved relaxing at the pool, no problems getting sun loungers and they had a happy hour for cocktails between 5 - 7 O'clock which was a great way to finish your day at the pool before going back to your room to get ready for the evening. I would have liked to have seen some evening entertainment on in the hotel, even if it was only at weekends. Maybe the hotel can look into this as it would make the hotel even better. Overall though I had a great stay and would definitely go back.

An excellent 2 week visit. Food excellent . Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Had my hearing aid disappear in Valetta....the concierge took lots of time and trouble to ring all possible places where it might be.....and again the day after. we came to the conclusion that it had been pick pocketed. only problem was building work on extension to hotel plus cranes on developments nearby.....very interesting watching them.

This hotel is in a great location, however after reading some reviews I can understand why some people thought the location not suitable. This hotel is right near the very loud and very busy nightlife of Pace ville. This nightlife is good for certain age groups of people but older individuals may find it quite loud and too much so my advice is to avoid the walking up and down the steps when going into St Julian 's centre unless you are brave and like loud music and being invited into lots of "gentleman's clubs". The pubs and clubs get busier at night and are open until the early hours - during the day they are not as busy. Hotel is in a good location for buses.

Great hotel for a relaxing break from the rat race,the hotel staff were wonderful and the roof top pool so relaxing,this hotel is in a perfect situation for all the best bars and night life on the island also if you walk 200 yards to the private beach there is a bus stop serving all the main routes and a couple of excursion booths where the reps can arrange all the tours and boat cruises you require
