Grand Hotel Royal

My husband and I came to this hotel for our honeymoon 30 years ago and returned for our anniversary. We were not diappointed. Changes had been made but it still had a lot of the original look and feel. The location is a dream and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would come back. The down side is that, as it is such a stunning location, there were weddings on the terrace most evenings which meant it wasn't see easy to relax in the hotel grounds.

The Grand Royal is a beautiful hotel with great facilities. It is close to the town’s central square, has magnificent views including Capri and Vesuvius from the large terrace and the staff are all friendly and helpful

My wife and myself stayed at the Grand Royal for 10 Nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay The staff throughout the hotel were very courteous and helpful and the food on offer was to our liking.The location was good and the view over looking the bay of Naples was breathtaking watching the sunrise some mornings and the sunset every night.

Excellent hotel and 1st class service, food is excellent standard and quality and the views from this hotel are fabulous. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Would come back to this hotel. This hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble

The hotel offers everything you would expect from a shortly to upgraded to 5 star hotel. Its décor and finish are excellent, even in the standard rooms and the staff and services are first class. Breakfast was extremely comprehensive and of a high quality- allow a good hour! and the hotel restaurants also had great evening offers. If you prefer to eat out in the evenings there are great restaurants with 200 metres- Il Convivio- is such an example. Tasso Square is only a further 100 metres. Will stay here again when next in Sorrento. For those who want to laze by the pool every day, there is the usual mad dash before and after breakfast for the beds. Similarly, the additional bathing area "the beach", which is actually a wooden deck, appears to get over subscribed, after 10.00.

Excellent Hotel, great position overlooking Sorrento Bay, with lovely garden. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, we had half board with good quality food and attentive and helpful staff. The hotel is away from the main tourist area so very quiet.
