Ear of Dionysius

Ear of Dionysius

Stroll through this unusually shaped cave and you’ll immediately notice its enchanting acoustics. Even the smallest of sounds can be amplified into a loud noise as they echo around the whole cavern. The cave received its name from the painter Caravaggio, who noted its similarity to a human ear.
