Rocha do Navio Nature Reserve

If you want somewhere pretty deserted, try this nature reserve near Santana. You can take a cable car to the beach, or follow a cliff path which zigzags its way down to the shore. Even from the top, there are some great views of the coast. You may even spot a seal!
