Umag

Umag holidays

The pretty old town of Umag is all burnt orange roofing and mazes of old-world streets, encased in tall walls. It’s certainly an historic hotspot, but it comes with captivating islands, churches and lighthouses as standard. Beaches sit calmly away from the central tangle of local culture, too.

Walk this way…

Umag is a town just calling out to be explored. The pretty promenade is a great place to start, with rows of shops for stocking up on souvenirs, and a sprinkling of boats bobbing gently in the summer’s breeze. From here, head to the Old Town for charming churches, ancient architecture and endless charm.

Wine and dine

With much of the culinary influences coming from its Italian neighbour, Umag is the place to tuck into stone-baked pizzas, hearty fish dishes and towering meat and cheese platters. The town even has its own vineyard and winery, so when it comes to choosing your vino – you can’t get any closer than this.
