Clerigos Tower

Clerigos Tower

This 75m-high structure is an icon of the city of Porto and is the tallest bell tower in Portugal. Building began on its Baroque design back in the 18th century, and since then, it’s become a hugely popular attraction. After a climb up the 200 steep steps to the top, you’ll be rewarded with staggering views over the old town and Douro River.
