Borgo Marinaro

Borgo Marinaro

As the site where the Greeks first settled in 7th century BC, this waterfront promenade is a favourite in mythology. Legend has it Partenope washed up here after she was rejected by Ulysses. Today it’s best known for its restaurants and bars and is home to Naples’ oldest castle, Castel dell’Ovo.
