Manuel Domingo Larios was a 19th-century businessman whose company financed the building of Calle de Larios, which is in between Calle Larios and Malaga Park. The bronze statue shows him standing on a marble pedestal, with two figures alongside him: a woman and child, representing charity, and a worker, representing labour.
