Prehistoric Naveta

Prehistoric Naveta

Seeing the Naveta is a must if you're a history buff. It's a prehistoric burial site, which dates back as far as 2,000 BC. The word 'Naveta' means roughly 'the upturned boat', thanks to the domed shape of the structure. There are lots of Navetas dotted around the Balearics, but Porto Colom's is especially impressive.
