Roman Amphitheatre

Roman Amphitheatre

The Roman Amphitheatre was built for ten thousand spectators to watch the gladiators. Its remains have been preserved and incorporated into the buildings around the large oval space which today hosts concerts. It’s a great place for a drink and a spot of people-watching in one of the many cafés here.
