Danubius Hotel Astoria City Centre

Booked a three bed room with Jet2. The room was nothing like the photo. Put u up bed against the cupboard with the safe and fridge in so had to rearrange the room. The hotel was a bit tired. The breakfast was ok

City centre hotel near to all transport including hop on hop off buses, metro, trams. Walking distance also to many attractions. Friendly helpful staff and a varied breakfast on offer. Nice bedroom accommodation, clean and nice bathroom.

The hotel in its day would have been the place to be seen in it is very grand. The lication is great next to the underground station Astoria. Across the road you can catch all the hop on hop off busses.

Can recommend this hotel very highly, very clean with an air of old world grandeur. The staff could not be more helpful, the room was spotless and the breakfast simply excellent. Perfectly situated to see the city centre on foot.

it was 30 degrees outside so we needed the air conditioning on in the room. as soon as the air conditioning was turned on the room smelled disgusting. the hotel was in a good position for the river side, about a 10 minute walk. there were restaurants nearby. the new York café was about a 20 minute walk

The Hotel was lovely and also the food. Ask the hotel staff for advice they are always willing to help out. Close to the metro, and shops , least liked the noise in the early hours of the morning. Our room was nice but paid for a deluxe room. Had to ask for a kettle, staff not good at refilling coffee/tea bags etc. Otherwise it was comfortable.

Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Hotel room spacious, clean, air conditioned, free safe, enough toiletries and quiet. Breakfast brilliant choice and quality. Excellent location for all areas as metro just outside and city within easy walking.

Beautiful hotel. We had a delux room on the 6th floor. Very spacious, big bathroom, very clean although not much of a view. Staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent English. A credit to the hotel. Plenty of choice at breakfast although at peak times it could get very busy. Would certainly visit this hotel again.
