Praia d’Agua is the cosy local beach that all the streets lead to – you can’t miss it. There’s also ample shade right under the umbrella pines climbing up the rocky outcrop. Just a short climb over the hill, you’ll find there are a few miles of lush sand at Praia de Falesia.
It’s nice and easy to make your way to vibrant Albufeira. There's a vast choice of bars and restaurants to relax and mingle in, plus there’s the magical marina to potter around all afternoon. Don’t miss out on catching a glimpse of dolphins bobbing in and out of the sea.
Olhos D’Agua (Albufeira) , Algarve
There are no shortages of cafés in the Algarve, very few have a good cake offering. Caffe Creme Caffeteria is a popular cake and coffee shop in Olhos de Agua serving freshly baked homemade cakes and pastries. A view of the road and car park may not be your cup of tea but its yummy treats make up for it.
Olhos D’Agua (Albufeira) , Algarve
La Cigale restaurant is built on the rock face overlooking Olhos de Agua beach and at high tide you get the sensation that you’re tucking into your food from the deck of a boat. Watch the traditional fishing boats bring in their catch of the day and enjoy the lobster, crab and fresh fish.
Olhos D’Agua (Albufeira) , Algarve
Natural fresh water springs are sprinkled all over the Olheiros de Agua Doce beach. The area Olhos de Agua literally translates to 'water eyes' thanks to these natural wonders. It’s rare to find this natural phenomenon on a salt water beach, so make sure you seek them out. They’re fantastic for cleaning the sand off your feet!
