Savoy Rome

Hotel was very clean and comfortable and included a really good breakfast buffet. Only niggles were with room service who were very hit and miss with restocking tea, coffee and milk. Also they asked that towels be put in the bath if you needed fresh ones. We didn't but they were still changed daily.

First time I booked with Jet 2, excellent service and call handler was lovely. They did everything I asked for, the transfer service and offer was amazing! Excellent location, I would advise the hotel specially for those who love to walk instead of catching transport everywhere. Close to Spanish steps and trevi fountain, bars and restaurants. Excellent hotel, only thing there is a steep hill to walk up to, so prepare your trainers. Breakfast was lovely and staff so friendly. Hotel, you can open the window widely which is good but if you have small children be aware! Nice place to visit though and hotel is very clean.

The hotel was a bit out from the main attractions the closest being the Spanish Steps about a 10 minute walk. The staff were friendly especially the ladies in the roof top bar which I have to say made the hotel stay, there was nothing nicer having walked for miles throughout the day to sit on the roof top overlooking the city watching the sun go down with a glass of wine - spectacular.The breakfast was beautiful with multiple choices of various hot and cold foods and you could have as much or as little as you wanted.The only small down side was our room 121 was next to the lift which was a bit noisy at times but it did not spoil the stay.

Hotel Savoy was ideally situated to access Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, restaurants and bars and the metro as well. There was tea and coffee making facilities which was great, plenty room for clothes and enough hangers . The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning was adjustable so it did not keep you awake all night. Toiletries were provided and slippers. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice

Amazing hotel, pleasant staff, good choice of food, excellent cleanliness of both room, facilities and hotel. Very satisfied with cost for a four star hotel in Rome City and within easy access to all sightseeing hotspots.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff willing to help. Hotel situated by Bernini Piazza and quite close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Easy reach to public transport and walking distance to all sights if up to it. Lovely place and beautiful city.

The hotel is situated in a very good location with easy access to the site and metro (10 minutes from the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese). It is very well kept and clean and the reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Everyone was very pleasant. Our room (212) was very comfortable, albeit the bathroom was a bit small, my husband is over 6ft 2" and found it hard to get around and out of the bath/shower. But the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside was the extortinate price of the drinks on the rooftop terrace. Whilst we had noted that other visitors had mentioned on TripAdvisor that drinks were expensive, we could not believe the price of the bill for 2 Gin & Tonic's (Blue Sapphire) - 35 Euro - absolutely appaulling a total rip off. You can buy a whole bottle for 27 Euro in the UK. This did put a damper on our hotel stay which otherwise had been a wonderful experience. As you can guess we didn't venture to the rooftop terrace again - whilst the hotel wants its visitors to have a wonderful experience, they actually penalise/take advantage of them. At the end of a beautiful day sightseeing you would expect them to appreciate that their clients would like a relaxing drink on their beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking an amazing city. Unfortunately they put 'profit' first and not their clients. So we would recommend staying at the hotel and going up to the rooftop terrace but DO NOT order a drink

good clean room tea & coffee facilities very welcoming facilities very good great location not far from the spanish steps taxi rank just opposite the hotel great location for site seeing all ancient sites in walking distance from hotel taxi prices white cabs very good value don't use other cabs as they tend to charge a lot more dining a bit expensive but very good good bar service excellent .lots of great restaraunts around hotel hard rock cafe food excellent

Excellent location , lovely helpful staff . I couldn't find any fault , good value for money and a high standard of service. I would reccommend this hotel to those who wish to be near most of the major attractions .

The Hotel Savoy is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The grandeur, the immaculate presentation coupled with excellent food and great service made it a holiday to remember. Eating on the terrace as tge sun goes down is very memorable. Excellent srlection of wines. Can't wait to go back.

Hotel clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was good with plentiful choice. I have food intolerances & had alternative choices. Only thing that let it down was the dinner menu ... Limited choices to choose from

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel, well located with metro just around the corner. From arrival to departure the staff were fabulous and very professional. The room was adequate and provided everything needed. The only downside was the heat control did not work so very hot during night. The breakfast was amazing and had everything you could think of-excellent start to the eventful days planned sightseeing. Weather was amazing for early Jan-we were very lucky. Definitely return/recommend this hotel.
