Right in the hills of the Goddess’ land, there’s a particularly luxury resort awaiting you. Explore the village centre past the green gardens surrounding its rustic buildings. There’s even golf, tennis and a spa nearby, so really make the most of your Cyprus holiday. Don’t miss a morsel either – try one of the many tempting meze platters.
Beyond the glorious gorge, you’re in prime place for day trips. Head to Pissouri for staggering scenery or even set aside some time to go and journey around forts and amphitheatres, if history’s more your bag. In the evenings, take local dancers up on learning traditional moves.
Aphrodite Hills, Paphos Area
The PGA-accredited Aphrodite Hills Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole championship green with stunning views of the mountains and the Mediterranean. A golf buggy is included in the fees, and you’ll see why as you negotiate the steep hills! Rounds can take upwards of five hours, even with course marshals to keep the game moving.

Alykes beach is easy to get to and has everything you’ll need to enjoy the sun and sea. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas to relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday read. And with lifeguards on duty it’s a safe beach for a spot of swimming or water sports in the clean, clear blue water.
