Find out moreAt the eastern end of the Tramuntana Mountains, stylish and cultural Pollensa – with its old town, narrow streets, boutiques and almost tea-stained buildings – is still true to its roots. It’s a beautiful resort complete with luxury villas and a welcoming beachfront nearby, so come and stay a while.

One of the best things about Pollensa is its list of natural wonders and historic sites. From the Roman bridge to the castle, the museum’s paintings to fascinating caves, there’s plenty to uncover. You can even hike up Puig de Maria to gaze at the Gothic-style monastery that still stands.
Sink your toes into sandy beaches surrounded by rocky patches or even go sailing – time on the water will get you fully into Majorcan holiday mode! Month-depending, come and enjoy classical music and wine festivals, but you can devour sumptuous Catalan cuisine, like pork, lobster and ensaimada buns all year round.
Pollensa, Majorca
The walk up this small hill overlooking the town of Pollensa offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Majorcan countryside and towns of Pollensa and Alcudia. It takes about 40-45 minutes to amble to the top where you'll find a monastery. Recharge your batteries at the restaurant before sauntering back down.
Majorca
The Arab Baths are one of the few remaining sites from the Moorish reign between the 8th and 13th centuries. To get to the small underground chambers that survived you walk through a lush walled garden. You'll see the rooms used for hot baths and warm baths, and the slits in the domed roof where steam escaped from.
Majorca
Stunning, time-honoured buildings in faded ochres and beiges make up the pretty town of Bunyola. It’s a place nestled within rolling hillsides and a great stop-off point if you’re travelling on to Sóller. You’ll find a central square surrounded by dainty coffee shops, a railway line and the odd mural.
